Interest credit, account balance ও relevant transaction দেখতে।
Interest certificate
Gross interest/profit এবং period পরিষ্কারভাবে বোঝার জন্য।
Source-tax certificate
Bank tax কাটলে return-এ credit support করার জন্য।
FDR/DPS statement
Principal, accrued/matured return ও closing balance আলাদা করতে।
Savings account, FDR এবং DPS একইভাবে দেখবেন না
Savings account interest সাধারণত periodic credit হিসেবে দেখা যায়। FDR-এ maturity, periodic payout বা accrued return structure থাকতে পারে। DPS মূলত নিয়মিত deposit product; তার maturity value-এর মধ্যে contribution এবং return অংশ আলাদা হতে পারে। তাই product statement দেখে income component এবং closing asset balance আলাদা করুন।
Return preparation-এর ৫ ধাপ
- 1সব bank account list করুন
Primary account ছাড়াও inactive/secondary account-এ interest এসেছে কি না দেখুন।
- 2Gross interest বের করুন
Net credit-এর বদলে bank certificate/statement থেকে gross figure identify করুন।
- 3TDS আলাদা করুন
Source tax certificate থাকলে deducted tax আলাদা column-এ রাখুন।
- 4Closing balance reconcile করুন
Return-এর asset side-এ year-end bank/FDR balance previous year-এর সঙ্গে মিলান।
- 5Tax treatment verify করুন
Current Income Tax Act, source-tax rules এবং applicable exemptions/credits অনুযায়ী classification নিশ্চিত করুন।
একাধিক ব্যাংক থাকলে একটি summary sheet বানান
